In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps on the iOS platform in South Africa showed varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared:

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at around $19.3K in late September and settling close to $17.6K by the end of December. Weekly downloads initially increased, reaching approximately 4.4K in early November before gradually declining to about 2.8K at the end of December. Active users showed a slight decline from 102.7K in late September to approximately 92.7K by the end of the year.

Revenue also saw a downward trend, starting at around $8.1K and dropping to approximately $4.9K over the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 3.6K to 2.1K during the same period.

Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF had relatively stable weekly revenue, ranging between $5.1K and $7.6K, with minor fluctuations. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at around 4K in late September and dropping to about 2.4K by the end of December. The app's active users decreased from 164.3K to approximately 138.9K over the quarter.

Invoice Simple: Receipt Maker saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $4.5K in late September and ending the quarter at about $3K. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 300 throughout the quarter. Active users saw a slight decline from 1.2K in late September to just over 1K by the end of December.

Scanner · experienced a decrease in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads dropped from around 1.1K in late September to just under 400 by the end of December. Revenue showed a slight decline, starting at approximately $3.6K and ending the quarter at around $2.3K. Active users also decreased from 10.4K to about 7.9K over the same period.
